「悪事をした人の晩年は必ずよくない」と多くの仏教の指導者が言っています。若い時から慈悲の心を持たずに生きていると、そのツケは晩年になって必ず来るのです。
それでは晩年のツケはいつ来るのでしょうか。
それは最晩年に来ます。または来世に来るのです。

その人がどのような状況で亡くなっていくかは、その人の今までの総決算として表れるのです。
今まで身近で亡くなった人の姿を思うと、これは他人事ではないのです。
今、自分がやっていることのツケが、最晩年に来るのです。

私たちの毎日が心を磨く修行の道場です。
毎日を大切にし、徳を積むことに心がけましょう。
それが最晩年の私たちの姿を決めるのです。

英訳（English translation）

"The end of the life of a wrongdoer is always bad," says many Buddhist leaders. If we live without compassion from a young age, we will always pay the price in later years.
So when do we pay the price of our later years?
It pays at the end of our lives.
Or we will pay in the next life.

Under what circumstances the person will die is a manifestation of the person's past results.
Considering the people who have died close to us, this is not another person's affair.
We pay the price of what we are doing at the end of our lives.

Our daily life is a training dojo that polishes our hearts.
Take good care of your daily life and try to accumulate virtue.
That determines our final appearance in life.
